How it works
Create a room
Enter your name and create a room. Yahtzee works solo too, for example as a score sheet for the table.
Invite friends
Send the link or the four-letter room code. Everyone plays on their own phone or computer.
Roll and score
On your turn, roll up to three times, then tap a box on the sheet. Then it's the next player's turn.
Rules and settings
Digital dice
Hold the cup, shake, let go. Tap dice to keep them. Three rolls per turn.
Real dice
In private rooms you can roll at the table and tap in the five dice. The sheet shows what the roll is worth in every box.
Players without a phone
Get their own column. Someone else enters their scores from another device.
Public rooms
Digital dice only, everyone writes in their own column and the value has to match the roll.
Points
- Aces to sixes: sum of that number
- Three/four of a kind, chance: all dice
- Full house: 25
- Small / large straight: 30 / 40
- Yahtzee: 50
- Bonus at 63 in the upper section: 35
FAQ
Can I play with real dice?
Yes. In private rooms, tap “Playing with real dice at the table?” and enter your rolls.
Can I play Yahtzee solo?
Yes. Yahtzee works from one player, with up to 16 players per room.
Does everyone need a phone?
No. Players without a phone get a column that someone else fills in for them.
Does it work over a video call?
Yes. Everyone plays on their own device, whether you're at the same table or on Discord or Zoom.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every game on Cozynyte is free and ad-free.
