How it works
Create a room
Enter your name and create a room. The host sets songs per player, time and an optional theme.
Invite friends
Send the link or the four-letter room code. Everyone plays on their own phone or computer.
Pick songs and guess
Everyone picks their songs in secret. Then the previews play and everyone guesses in the chat.
Rules and settings
Guessing
Title and artist score separately. Small typos still count, near misses show up as “close”.
Hints
Letters of title and artist are revealed bit by bit as the round goes on.
Your own songs
Whoever picked a song doesn't guess it but can chat. Songs that are too obscure don't pay off.
Theme
Optional, for example “2000s only”. If you're stuck, there are suggestions by genre and decade.
Points
- Title guessed: 50 + up to 50
- Artist guessed: 25 + up to 25
- Your song is guessed (per title): 15
- Extra points: the faster, the more

Where do the songs come from?
Everyone picks their own songs. Short previews are played via Apple's music search (iTunes).
Do we need a Spotify or Apple account?
No. The previews are freely available, no account or app needed.
How many people can play?
Two to 16 players per room.
Does it work over a video call?
Yes. Everyone plays on their own device, whether you're at the same table or on Discord or Zoom.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every game on Cozynyte is free and ad-free.
